Before the start of last night's Champions League final in Rome,
people were talking about Manchester United being the best and will
defend their title. But there were people who were thinking that the
match against Barcelona to achieve European glory is the real test for
United. And indeed it was as it proved all those who were expecting
Manchester United to win easily. It could have been an United win as
the Barca defense was hit with injuries and suspensions. But the
makeshift Barca defense was enough to stop the powerful United attack.
Of course United were attacking with confidence during the first ten
minutes but made nothing out of those. Cristiano Ronaldo kept on
shooting from outrageous positions expecting to score one like how he
did against FC Porto.
